A future first-round pick is a range of possible outcomes rather than a player already on your roster. Use the pick controls to select the draft year, round, and expected early, mid, or late position, then compare the pick with players or another draft package. Keep the league format visible because Superflex and 1QB rookie demand differ. Test more than one expected position when the season is still uncertain. The model discounts and values picks explicitly; it cannot know the eventual draft slot or the quality of a future rookie class.
Position uncertainty belongs in the offer
Early, mid, and late are scenarios, not promises. A contender’s future pick can move after injuries, and a rebuilding roster can improve. Evaluate the trade with at least two plausible outcomes.
Example: move back in the rookie draft
Compare an early first with a late first plus a second. Then try a different second-round tier or draft year. The result helps frame the cost of trading down without claiming an unnamed rookie is certain to hit.
Future years represent time and uncertainty
A later pick delays when you can use the asset and adds uncertainty about the class. The methodology explains the model assumption rather than hiding a future pick inside a player ranking.
Questions before you trade?
Can I add future firsts, seconds, and thirds?
Yes. The pick builder includes multiple draft years, the first three rounds, and early, mid, or late tiers.
Are early picks guaranteed to stay early?
No. These are user-selected scenarios. The tool does not predict your league’s final standings.
Is the same pick worth the same in 1QB and Superflex?
No. The chosen format is part of the pick valuation. Keep the correct format selected when sharing.
