Rookie pick values help you compare draft capital without pretending an unknown future player is already identified. Use the chart to inspect first-, second-, and third-round picks by year and expected position, then add a pick directly to the trade calculator. Check the format before comparing numbers because 1QB and Superflex rookie demand are different. Early, mid, and late describe scenarios chosen by the manager. They are not predictions of final standings, and a later year carries both additional waiting time and uncertainty about the eventual rookie class.
A pick is an option, not a guaranteed starter
Draft capital preserves the ability to choose a player or trade again. Its eventual outcome depends on the slot, the class, and your decision when the pick comes due.
Use a range for an uncertain future first
Compare early, mid, and late versions of the same year. An offer that works only when a pick becomes early has a different risk profile from an offer that still looks reasonable when it becomes late.
Questions before you trade?
Are pick tiers the same in every league size?
No. An early or late tier covers different actual selections in an eight-team versus a sixteen-team league. Select the correct team count.
Does the chart forecast rookie class quality?
No. Future-year adjustments are model assumptions and do not predict the strength of an unknown class.
Can I send a pick straight into a trade?
Yes. Use the add action, then compare it with players or another pick package.
